Doing Tech in China and Asia

With rapidly developing and changing technology innovations, businesses of all sizes and across all industries are facing both opportunities and challenges to disrupt and outgrow, as well as to be disrupted and out-paced, by their competitors. As such, every business is a technology business. Similarly, financial decision makers and industry advisors such as investors, CFOs, general managers, strategy consultants and other professional services providers also need to constantly be alert and adjust to the changing technology environment. Hence, both seasoned professionals and early-in-career students across all functions and industries, and across enterprises large and small benefit from understanding how to develop technology businesses. With two-thirds of the world's population and rapidly growing markets in Asia and China, understanding and adjusting to the needs of these geographies are key.
This course is an overview course on developing technology businesses with a particular focus on Asia and China. The course will include: fundamentals of new business development, case studies, active discussions and student presentations, and occasional guest speakers.
