The November 1 event will connect Yale SOM students with their peers at Lagos Business School and the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business.
A team of Yale SOM students have organized the school’s first Africa Business Practicum to be held on Nov. 1. The event will connect students with experts from across campus and eight other schools, including Lagos Business School and the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, to discuss business problems facing companies and entrepreneurs on the continent. Students will also collaborate on a case study focused on a mobile payments company in Zambia.
"The goal is to have much more input from people actually on the continent," Barkot Tekle ‘15 said. "I think that over time, the more engagement we can get from Global Network schools based in Africa, the better."
